What does mime training provide for the actor’s craft? You have to be a good actor to be a good mime, but does one have to be a good mime to be a good actor? Where can one go for mime training? Join us for a discussion of mime as a fundamental base in actor training, examined by teaching artists with long careers on the faculties of some of the world’s most prestigious theatre conservatories and studios.

This panel will explore how mime and physical theatre have historically engaged with these principles and examine current challenges. Join us for a compelling discussion on the advancements made and the ongoing work needed to fully integrate these values into artistic practices.
